Personally, Media Culture class is quite interesting because the topics presented to me gives me more insight about the current world we living in.
Eventhough all this time I believe that the media is affecting culture, but thanks to both Madam Helena and Mr. Sau Bin, their lectures made me to look at the media world differently.
Issues such as, how the involved parties make use of the Internet, Commercials, News, etc. to affect the mentality and perception of the society about other people around them, what they should wear, eat, listen to and believe is really an eye opener.
First of all I want to congratulation to everyone for their commitment in doing this assignment.
From my perspective I found out this Media Culture class is pretty amazing. This is due to our hardworking lecturer Mr. Sau Bin and Madam Helena that pain strikingly give us their quality work and thought regarding on Media Culture. Well, before this I usually think that most of the time media conquer the culture, and yet our lecturer make us think back are those statement true or false.
Some example can be seen while doing this blog assignment. Most of the task given make me think back is this true that most of the time we tend to take the news or media as it is without bending and find the truth regarding the matter that we discuss.
Lastly I would like to say thank you and a job well done to my lecturer and everyone for making this subject interesting.
I really like this kind of assignment task because its different from the typical ways of doing assignment. By giving topic to discuss, we can put more efforts to research and take this chances to intensify our general knowledge. This subject also has opened up my eyes on how can the media been used to influences people mindset and perception.
With blog post and discussion, I find that it is easier for me to give my opinion and thought to be share my others as well as trying to changed people's critical thinking. In real world, I hardly to express my feeling and giving any opinion because every time I talk, there are always interruption going on before I can finish my words then suddenly change the topic. However, with this blog discussion I can freely expressed my feelings without being interrupted, its up to them (my group members) whether want to reconsider my thought or not.
Thanks to Mdm Helena and Mr. Yap Sau Bin for teaches us what the media really is? I hope I can implement all the teachings from the lecturers in my carrier in the future.

Still, I thanks to our dear lecturer of giving us an awesome subject and also cool assignments for us to give opinion and get to know lot from the outside. Still I really appreciate of this.
